Indigenous Missionary Program

At the 2012 Spring Meeting of the Goshen Association, the messengers voted to become involved with the Indigenous Missionary Program, a ministry of the European Baptist Federation.  The Federation, in cooperation with the national Baptist groups of Europe and the Near East, find men called of the Lord to begin new works in their native lands.  The EBF helps by providing funding, training and at time support teams who join with the missionaries to carry out their ministries.  The Goshen Association has committed to being a part of this program for the next five years.  During that time we will provide financial support for an Indigenous Missionary in Moldova, Gheorge Rudi.  It is hop

ed that in the future, in addition to his monthly support of $350, we shall have teams travel to Moldova to work alongside the missionary in his ministry.

We invite you to join our Association in prayer for Gheorge and for his work in Moldova.  Financial donations for his support may be sent to the Goshen Baptist Association.  Thank you for joining us in the work of the Lord's Kingdom across His world.

Gheorge Rudi – Obreja, Moldova

Born in 1980, married, 3 children. He prayed for some time and believes that God has called him and his family to Obreja. Now there is only one Orthodox Church and 2K inhabitants. There was also a Baptist church during the Soviet time but it was closed as the result of persecution. Gheorge wants to start with children and later reach out to their parents. The mother church is Papauti – 150 km away.
